NAINITAL: The Uttarakhand high court on Wednesday asked the state chief secretary and principal secretary (home) to hold talks with the 86-year-old saint, who has been fasting in Haridwar since June 22 demanding a central government legislation to protect and preserve Ganga.
The court also said that the whereabouts of the saint, who was removed from the venue of his fast by police on Tuesday, should be disclosed to his followers.
