Four decisions passed by Uttarakhand cabinet, Yogi's degree college gets government institution status

DEHRADUN: Six issues were raised in the Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting at Secretariat on Wednesday, out of which four were passed.
Previously, the minimum educational requirement for Mahila Bandi Rakshak was Class X and now it has been raised to Class XII.
In Wednesday's cabinet, a decision was taken to make it a government institution to provide better facilities to the students.Amendments have been approved in the rules for Uttarakhand Mahila Jal Bandi Seva Niymawali.
The remaining two were suspended and asked to be brought before the cabinet after fulfilling certain formalities.An approval has been given by the Cabinet to make Mahayogi Gorakhnath Ashashikya Mahavidyala a government institution.
The degree college in Yamkeswar block of Pauri district was founded by UP CM Yogi Adityanath in 2005 and was run by a trust.After coming to power, the Trivendra Singh Rawat government made this institution a government-aided one in April 2017.
