BJP issues notice to MLA who accused Trivendra Rawat of ‘not having time for party legislators’

A few months ago, Khanpur legislator Kunwar Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ had alleged that CM Trivendra Singh Rawat was shielding the corrupt. As far as the notice is concerned, I will respond to it appropriately after I receive it.”Incidentally, this is not the first time that a BJP MLA has spoken out against the party. Dehradun: The Uttarakhand unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) on Sunday issued a notice to party MLA from Laksar constituency Sanjay Gupta for “being disrespectful to CM Trivendra Rawat and speaking out against him.” Gupta had lashed out at the chief minister on Saturday during an interaction with media in which he was quoted saying that the CM has no time for his own party MLAs but has time to attend other party’s leader’s events and have biryani there. (referring to the CM attending the marriage ceremony of the son of BSP leader of Haridwar Mohammed Shahzad on Friday).Confirming that a notice had been sent to Gupta, BJP state president Ajay Bhatt told TOI, “Sanjay Gupta has been asked to respond in a week’s time and give his clarification before the party initiates any action.”Gupta had alleged in his outburst that his constituency Laksar had been “ignored on all fronts by the CM” and he was having to face the ire of locals who had voted for him.However, when TOI spoke to him on Sunday, the MLA was cautious in his comments. “It was my pain that had come out when I spoke yesterday.
