Ursquokhand cricket team announced for Vijay Hazare trophy

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Cricket Consensus Committee has announced the 15-member state cricket team which will represent the hill state in the upcoming Vijay Hazare trophy.The team will be led by cricketer Rajat Bhatia while Vineet Saxena has been made the vice-captain of the cricket team. There are four players from Dehradun in the team while two players are from Udham Singh Nagar district. The players were selected from 25 cricketers during a four-day selection camp from August 27 to 30 in Dehradun. BCCI has appointed Bhaskar Pillai as the chief coach of the team.According to authorities, the team will play its first match in the BCCI-affiliated tournament against Bihar in Anand in Gujarat.
