CM Rawat commits to work on promoting Sanskrit in the state

He pointed out that under the New Education Policy, the Centre too has taken steps to promote Sanskrit on the education setup. 

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Monday, on the occasion of Sanskrit Diwas, said that the state government will celebrate this week as “Sanskrit Week” and hold several programmes to encourage the use of the language.

“We are dedicated and committed towards promoting Sanskrit, which is also the official second language of “Uttarakhand,” the CM said.
