The poor quality road leading towards Subharti Medical College is leading to accidents and causing inconvenience to the patients coming to the medical facility. The monsoon has added to woes of the residents in the locality as rainwater created more damage to the road which was repaired just a while back.
The residents say that the drains have also got chocked, forcing the rainwater to remain stagnant in the potholes. This not only poses a threat to the commuters but also becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Residents complain that this leads to a threat to the lives if pedestrians and motorists who use the stretch. It is also worrisome as there is a hospital on the damaged road which may risk the life of the patients also.
