The Uttarakhand government has decided not to enforce lockdown in any district during the weekend.

For two weeks, the state authorities had put in place a weekend lockdown in four districts if Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital.

However, it was lifted last week on the wake of the Raksha Bandhan festival on Monday.

This weekend too, the state government has decided to discontinue with the lockdown.
