57,024 pilgrims visited Char Dham since July 1

After the lockdown, only local people are allowed to visit the “Char Dham”.

The Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand recorded as many as 57,024 pilgrims visiting Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri in just three months between July 1 and September 25 amid all the Covid-19 restrictions.

Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Management Board shared the statistics on Friday.

According to the board, e-passes are being issued to all the pilgrims for darshans in the four dhams.

"57,024 pilgrims have visited the four Dhams Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri from 1 July to 25 September. E-passes are being issued to all pilgrims for darshan in the four dhams," the board stated.

After the lockdown, only local people are allowed to visit the “Char Dham”.
