Uttarakhand CM meets PM Modi, aware him of State Covid19 Stuation

CM Rawat meets PM Modi on apprising Covid situation in the state. 

On reviewing the Covid situation state-wise, Uttarakhand CM meets PM Narendra Modi. CM Tirath Singh Rawat aware of the Covid situation in the state and the preventions taken to overcome it. The meeting continued for half an hour where he requested a special grant for considering the UK as the organic state. 

He said that the environment of Uttarakhand is very sensitive, so a `Glacial and Water Resources Research Center` should be established in Uttarakhand to study the glaciers in the entire Himalayan region and ways to protect the water sources. Rawat also demanded an additional quota for timely delivery of vaccines in rural areas in case of road closure during monsoon and calamity in the state.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for providing free COVID-19 vaccination to all citizens aged above 18 years and also thanked him for providing free food grains to 80 crore people of the state. 

Rawat said that the State has received all kinds of assistance from the Government of India to fight against COVID-19. As part of this, hospitals have been built by DRDO in Rishikesh and Haldwani respectively.

CM too invited PM for the Char Dham post-Covid19 situation.
