5 Districts of Uttarakhand Issued Red Alert, Get Details

5 districts of Uttarakhand issued a red alert for heavy rain. 

IMD has issued a red alert of heavy to very heavy rain for 5 districts of Uttarakhand from 26 to 27 July. According to the Meteorological Department, rain can become a disaster again in the next few days, so people need to be alert. 

The districts are the Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital, Audi, and Dehradun districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a yellow alert of heavy showers, lightning, rain in Uttkashi, Chamoli, Nainital. 

Meteorological Department has asked the administration to take adequate precautions in view of the heavy rains. The district administration, disaster management department have been alerted across the state.

The state again might see heavy rainfall between July 30 and August 5, in many parts of the state.
