1 killed after vehicle falls into gorge

DEHRADUN: One man was killed and another seriously injured after the utility vehicle they were travelling in fell into a 100-metre deep gorge near Totaghati on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Tehri Garhwal district in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.While Dinesh Singh Chaudhary, 40, died, Dev Singh Chaudhary, 34, both residents of Vikasnagar in Dehradun district, was injured.The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, said inspector Lalita Negi, SDRF.
