2 found dead in canal in Doon

Dehradun: The bodies of Sandeep Mohan Dhasmana, 40, and Hemlata Devi, 26, were found in a canal in the Vasant Vihar area of Dehradun on Sunday morning. Both were residents of Vasant Vihar. The bodies were recovered by police after receiving a call from a passerby. SSP Ajai Singh said, "Initial probe suggests the two persons did not know each other.
