Will present reform plans before Niti Aayog, says CM

NAINITAL: Chief minister Trivendra Rawat on Saturday said development plans for Uttarakhand would be presented before the Niti Aayog for reforms in every sectors in the state soon.Speaking on the sidelines of the BJP executive committee meeting here, Rawat said the Niti Aayog should come to Uttarakhand to hold meeting with state government officials to understand problems faced by the hill state.“Our state has different demography and problems. Also, Uttarakhand is a border state,” said Rawat.Terming the meeting with the Aayog important, the CM said he would be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi separately.Meanwhile, the chief minister announced projects worth Rs 450 crore for Nainital district, including a ring road in Haldwani at a cost of Rs 400 crore, and a Rs 50-crore multi-story parking in Nainital.The chief minister also said Modi was likely to come for the opening of the Kedarnath temple on May 3.
