RWAs, traders spar over changes to Delhi Master Plan

(Express photo)Traders’ associations and Resident Welfare Associations are at loggerheads over the proposed amendment to the Delhi Master Plan 2021, with the former blaming RWAs for increased commercialisation in the capital.
Hitting out at RWAs, CAIT secretary general Praveen Khandelwal said, “There was no need for RWAs to intervene in the amendment of the Master Plan… They should introspect before speaking.
The RWAs hit back, saying that the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) should not make amendments over pressure from traders and political parties.
