CM, NDMC BJP members at odds over meet video

Mr. Kejriwal, who is the New Delhi MLA and ex-officio member of the Council, had chaired an NDMC meeting on February 3 that was videographed. On April 5, the Chief Minister demanded that the video recording be given to him to “enable” him to sign the minutes of the meeting, stated a written communication with the NDMC. A meeting notice circulated on Wednesday stated that the Council Secretariat said the five members (all BJP) — New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi, vice-chairperson Karan Singh Tanwar, Anita Arya, Mr. Ansari and B.S. Bhati — had proposed to convene a special meeting on April 23. The agenda of the meeting will be to “deliberate” on the mechanism for sharing the recording of proceedings.
