Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain still in hospital, stable

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was rushed to hospital on Sunday night after his condition deteriorated following a nearly week long fast, is stable. Mr. Jain has been on an indefinite fast since June 12, seeking Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s intervention in what AAP calls as IAS offiers’ strike. Mr. Jain was rushed to Delhi's Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital on Sunday night. Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Monday morning: “Jain was taken to hospital after complaining of a headache, body ache and difficulty in breathing and urinating. Now, he is doing well.”Doctors at the hospital also maintained that the minister's condition is stable.

His ketone levels had increased. Now, he is doing well.” Doctors at the hospital also maintained that the minister's condition is stable. Ashish Khetan of AAP too tweeted stating: “Visited Satyendra Jain doctors said that if he had not received medical attention for another few hours, there could have been renal failure. Equally worrisome is the rising ketone level of Manish Sisodia who is still on an indefinite hunger strike. Please pray for him.”
