The death of the 17-year-old, left the all the people of Tilak Nagar in anguish and rage. A precious life was lost, due to a deviant man, who was stubborn enough to kidnap a minor just to make her a bride, neighbours alleged. According to the neighbours, Happy Singh was a drug- addict, who was spotted with random girls in their colony. "The man is a monster, he takes capsules and lose his senses, he was even involved in domestic violence. Anyone can hear the violence he is indulged in the night, the screeching voices of the women, makes me shiver," said one of the woman from the neighbourhood. The woman of the society also blamed him for misbehaving, with their daughter, but it was Komal, who was sacrificed in this whole filth. "She was a very bright student, she had big goals and wanted to support her family at any cost. She cleared her Class 12th and was attending computer classes as well," said another man from the neighbour hood. A huge mob of men and women had gathered around the Tilak Vihar Police post and was shouting for the justice, the girl deserved. The crowd was furious as their sentiments were hurt, they demanded stern proceeding regarding the case, and for the officers who stood there, and did nothing, when the girl hanged herself. "We want justice for the family and their daughter, the little soul had some dreams and aspirations which was crushed by that impudent man, he should be hanged and punished for his sins," said Gurkeerat Singh, the Pradhan of the gurudwara. "It was so painful, when I saw the girl, hanging in the police station lifeless, my eyes were full of tears and my heart was in remorse, she was just 17, the police officers should have not have left the girl alone, she was going through so much, her brothers were in the police custody, she just escaped from kidnap, this is too much for a young heart, the accused should be punished," said another women from the mob.
