The policemen are responsible for her death. Two of my brothers and I were locked up in another room at the police post and my sister was locked up in the other. After hearing commotion from outside, I broke open the door and rushed to the room where my sister was locked. I broke the gate and found her hanging. All the policemen present at the post disappeared after that,” said Jasbir Singh, elder brother, who works with an RO filter company. ‘Bright student’ Mr. Singh said after his father death five years ago, he was taking care of the family. “No one has cleared Class XII exams in my family. My sister was good in studies and had recently passed Class XII exams with 76%. She was eager to join college. I was making all possible efforts so that she could continue her studies,” he said. He added that his sister turned hostile after hearing that her brothers were going to be booked under strict sections and were being sent to jail. She got upset and hanged herself.
