NEW DELHI: Five days after a 16-year-old widow was stabbed to death, police have arrested her two brothers-in-law who had fled from the spot after stabbing her multiple times. While he was struggling to get a stable job, the woman left him which made him depressed.After killing the woman, the accused fled and ever since, were roaming around the city. The knife used to kill the woman was also recovered from their possession. Another brother-in-law, a juvenile, was apprehended on the day of the crime, police said.Her husband of one year, Ayush, had allegedly committed suicide a few months back and the accused, Amit (19) and Anil (21), blamed her for his death. They were finally nabbed near the Tughlakabad metro station.

They told cops that their brother committed suicide because he was disturbed after she left him and went to live with her parents, while he was facing problems at the work front.On Monday evening, police received information about a woman being stabbed by three boys at her house in Tajpur Pahari in Badarpur area, following which a team was formed to crack the case.DCP (southeast) Chinmoy Biswal said Ayush lost his job a few months after the marriage and started doing odd jobs. While he was struggling to get a stable job, the woman left him which made him depressed.After killing the woman, the accused fled and ever since, were roaming around the city. They were finally nabbed near the Tughlakabad metro station. The knife used to kill the woman was also recovered from their possession.
