The outreach programme was launched by Shah on May 29 following completion of four years of Modi government. From cricketers to the intelligentsia to spiritual leaders, the Delhi wing has been meeting an interesting potpourri of prominent people belonging to the national Capital, propagating the development work done by the Modi government in the last four years. For instance, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari along with Minister of State Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Rathore interacted with the most famous face of Najafgarh, former cricketer Virender Sehwag a fortnight ago. The former vice-captain of the Indian cricket team was apprised about "Prime Minister's belief in youth and sports." Shyam Jaju, Delhi BJP in-charge and national party vice-president presented spiritual guru and founder of Isha Foundation, Sadhguru with details on Centre's 'achievements' since it assumed power in 2014. The North East Delhi MP has also tried to utilise the significance of having social change agents and persons respected in their field as possible influencers. Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi was also paid a visit by Tiwari, so was RK Bhatnagar, vice-chancellor Banaras Hindu University soon after his appointment. Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad too met Satyarthi with the same agenda of brief about NDA government's various policies and the work done by it. Neelkanth Bakshi, media manager, Delhi BJP, meanwhile, hints at roping these celebrities for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. "It is solely up to them if they want to join hands with us and canvass. We would be glad to have them."
