Two labourers died after they entered a petrol tank at a petrol pump in north-west Delhi’s Model Town to clean it on Thursday.
They were working under a contractor identified as Pawan, the police said.
He told the police that the men had entered the 2 lakh litre-capacity tank after rainwater seeped into it.
Ms. Khan said that a case under IPC Section 304A has been registered at Model Town police station against the contractor.
“The tank was empty when the men went inside it.
