Cloudy skies, humid weather for next 4 days in Delhi: Met Department

On Thursday, the minimum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature recorded was 35.6 degrees Celsius. The weatherman had predicted generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for the day but the weather remained largely hot with no trace of rain. The city woke up to a hot and humid morning on Friday with the mercury settling at 36.1 degrees Celsius, two points above the season's average. "The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius," an official of the department said. The sky will remain cloudy with the possibility of light rain on Saturday and Sunday.

The city woke up to a hot and humid morning on Friday with the mercury settling at 36.1 degrees Celsius, two points above the season's average. The weatherman had predicted generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for the day but the weather remained largely hot with no trace of rain. According to the meteorological department, the humidity level recorded at 8.30 am was 80 per cent. It came down to 70 per cent at 5:30 in the evening. "The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius," an official of the department said. Light showers were received in some part of the city in the afternoon. However, there was no respite from the sultry weather. There are fewer chances of respite from heat over the weekend as the temperature will oscillate between 36 to 35 degrees Celsius.
