The first ever Gaj Mahotsav started on World Elephant Day and was concluded on August 15. The four day festival has a total of 101 elephant art installations on display. The event was organised at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts where one can find scores of elephants made of clay, straw, waste, cloth, metal and other material. The event is all about visual representation of elephants journeys.
