more-in Cooperation in the fields of skill education and incubation centres were among the topics discussed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Australian High Commissioner to India Harinder Sidhu during a meeting on Thursday, the Delhi government said. During the meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office, the government said Mr. Kejriwal informed Ms. Sidhu that the Delhi government will soon be opening 25 skill centres, for which he sought an “understanding” with Australia. The High Commissioner asked for a detailed proposal to take it forward, the statement said. They also discussed cooperation over incubation centres and opportunities in the areas of research and development, the statement said. “Look forward to collaboration with Australia especially in the fields of skilling, incubation centres and R &D [sic],” Mr. Kejriwal said in a tweet after the meeting. The Chief Minister also discussed the Delhi government’s first world-class skill centre, set up with the help of the Singapore government, and the results of the students in the last three years. The Delhi government statement said Ms. Sidhu informed the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia about 10 key sectors of potential collaboration, with education being the flagship.
