'Lucknow se hoon': BSP leader's son caught on camera brandishing gun outside Delhi 5-star hotel in viral video

Delhi infamous ‘short fuse’ was on display once again when a man was seen brandishing his gun and threatening a couple during an ugly brawl that broke out on the porch of Hyatt Regency. The incident that occurred on the intervening night of October 13 and 14 came to light after the video clip of the brawl went viral. The man seen in the video has been identified as Ashish Pandey, who is son of former BSP parliamentarian Rakesh Pandey. Soon, he whips out his gun, which looks like a mauser and threatens a couple standing on the porch. Sensing trouble, some unidentified person tries to intervene and calms him down. One can notice his female friends also joining in abusing the couple and instigating him. Pandey is heard saying ‘Lucknow se hoon,’ and ‘dekh loonga’ while getting inside his BMW parked near the porch. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has registered a case under the Arms Act. Hyatt Regency, on the other hand, is silent on why the hotel staff did not intervene or call the cops immediately and let the guy drive off. However, an official spokesperson clarified that the incident did not occur inside the premises but in the porch and the guy got the gun from his vehicle after the car was brought by the valet.
