Delhi's air quality may turn ‘very poor’ today

Forecasts under the environment ministry’s newly launched air quality prediction system indicated an increase in pollution levels over the next three days at all locations across Delhi-NCR, which is likely to push the overall air quality into the “very poor” zone. Forecasts show, with wind speeds remaining low, Delhi’s air could touch the “very poor” category in the next 24 hours.According to the Central Pollution Board’s index, air quality is classified as “poor” if the AQI ranging from 201 to 300, while it is “very poor” from 301 to 400.
