40-year-old man arrested with fake notes in Delhi's Anand Vihar

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a racket of supplying Indian fake currency in the market from Anand Vihar area of Shahdara district of Delhi on Tuesday. Police have recovered Rs 60,000 fake currency notes from his possession. Police received an information that Hussain who was previously also involved in fake currency cases has again started supplying fake currency notes in Delhi NCR market. "He had met a person in Paharganj and who offered him huge profit in exchange circulating the fake currency in the market. Further investigation with regard to the source of fake currency is on.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a racket of supplying Indian fake currency in the market from Anand Vihar area of Shahdara district of Delhi on Tuesday. Police have recovered Rs 60,000 fake currency notes from his possession. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Mohd. Hussain, a resident of Paharganj. Police received an information that Hussain who was previously also involved in fake currency cases has again started supplying fake currency notes in Delhi NCR market. "Following specific information about the accused and a trap was laid at Anand Vihar. Hussain had come to supply the fake currency notes as soon as head constable received the fake currency of Rs 2,000 in exchange of two original currency of amount Rs 500 each," said Meghna Yadav, deputy Commissioner of Police, Shahdara. During interrogation, Hussain disclosed that he came into the contact with members of fake currency supplier group. "He had met a person in Paharganj and who offered him huge profit in exchange circulating the fake currency in the market. To make a quick money, he started circulating the fake currency," said Yadav. Police said Hussain is also previously involved in one case of Narcotics Drugs and substances and a fake currency case. Further investigation with regard to the source of fake currency is on. Old Habit
