New Delhi: Tension prevails after the death of Riyaz Mohammed who was injured after the communal clash broke out in Raghubir Nagar in the national capital. A large number of policemen have been deployed. 4 people have been arrested in this connection. According to sources DJ was being played on high volume near cement go down, at Raghubir Nagar. Meanwhile, children playing nearby had a fight which took a communal turn. Riyaz’s nephew told that when two of my maternal uncles learned about the row, they reached on the spot and placated the children and were carrying them away. Suddenly a large crowd from the opposite party with weapons in their hand and they were firing, came towards my uncle. They caught him and took in a park where they assaulted him badly. He sustained injuries. Later they handed him over to police saying that uncle did the firing. Another man was badly injured in the incident. Later the crowd pounced over another uncle and beat him with sticks. When he fell unconscious they thought him dead. He was rushed to Guru Govind hospital where looking at his condition, they refused to admit him. Later he was shifted to Safdar Jung Hospital where he was operated upon. He was kept in ICU for 13 hours. He succumbed to injuries on Tuesday. Qamer told that we have learnt that police arrested 4 people while a key accused is still absconding. Police asks to furnish proof of the cause of death claiming that the cause of death was not beating but due to falling.
