Panic at Delhi airport after Afghan airlines’ pilot mistakenly presses hijack button

New Delhi [India]: Delhi international airport experienced a panic situation on Saturday afternoon after the pilot of Ariana Afghan Airlines mistakenly pressed the hijack button. Kandahar-bound flight FG-312 was scheduled to depart from Delhi airport at around 15:45 but suddenly the aviation security at the airport was alerted after airlines’ pilot pressed the hijack button. As per CISF sources, aviation security was alerted and deployed for necessary action but later it was clarified that the pilot pressed the button by mistake. After security clearance by the Bureau of Civil Aviation (BCAS), the aircraft took off for Kandahar after two-hour delay. Source: ANI
