24-year-old shot dead in Northeast Delhi's Nand Nagri area

A 24-year-old man was shot dead merely 500 meters away from his house by three bike-borne miscreants in Nand Nagri area of Northeast Delhi on Saturday night. "We received a police control room call at around 10:30 pm regarding a man shot at by bike-borne miscreants near Kanchi Pura Chowk in Nand Nagri area. During interrogation, the three accused revealed that they often had a fight over a petty issue and the two parties had a fight three days ago over some petty issue following which they decided to take revenge. According to the police, the accused have been identified as Vishal (21), Gaurav (18) and Jai (18), all residents of Nand Nagri, who allegedly shot at the victim identified as Sunny Gautam. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the two parties had issues with each other in past as well and in order to take revenge over a petty issue and.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the two parties had issues with each other in past as well and in order to take revenge over a petty issue and. According to the police, the accused have been identified as Vishal (21), Gaurav (18) and Jai (18), all residents of Nand Nagri, who allegedly shot at the victim identified as Sunny Gautam. "We received a police control room call at around 10:30 pm regarding a man shot at by bike-borne miscreants near Kanchi Pura Chowk in Nand Nagri area. The victim was shot in the head and was rushed to the nearest hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," said Atul Kumar Thakur, deputy commissioner of police (Northeast). During investigations, it was revealed that the victim Gautam was walking nearby his house on Saturday night when the three bike-borne miscreants came to him and they had a heated argument following which they opened fire at him. "As the accused fell on the floor, the three fled from the spot. Based on the complaint by the victim's brother, a case under relevant section of the Indian Penal Code was registered and the three accused were arrested from the area," said Thakur. During interrogation, the three accused revealed that they often had a fight over a petty issue and the two parties had a fight three days ago over some petty issue following which they decided to take revenge.
