Congress-AAP alliance may prove to be an irony

Irony will play out if the Congress and AAP join hands for the upcoming elections as being speculated with Dikshit and Arvind Kejriwal playing the main protagonists. The two have been formidable foes with the former CM also criticising Kejriwal's acrimonious relationship with the Lt Governor. The duo have been at loggerheads since the former bureaucrat ditched India Against Corruption and decided to foray into politics. His Aam Aadmi Party's emergence was largely based on criticism of Dikshit and her governance in Delhi. At one point, he also "promised" action against her in the Common Wealth Games scam.

The two have been formidable foes with the former CM also criticising Kejriwal's acrimonious relationship with the Lt Governor.
