Ruckus at IGI after flight is delayed by six hours

NEW DELHI: There was ruckus at Indira Gandhi International airport in the early hours of Wednesday after a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Hyderabad was reportedly delayed for over six hours. The incident occurred on SpiceJet's SG 472 scheduled to operate from Delhi to Hyderabad at 9.10pm on Tuesday.The airline said the flight was rescheduled for 12:40 am with all passengers duly informed by call and messages. At first, the flight was rescheduled and later due to runway closure due to a maintenance issue.Passengers took to twitter to highlight their ordeal and claimed a passenger had fainted while waiting for the boarding process. Further delay however occurred due to taxiing problems. However, the airline has denied the allegations.
