NEW DELHI: If all seven candidates of AAP win in Delhi, the party will ensure full statehood in two years which can bring faster development, said CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday.Addressing the crowd in north Delhi’s Azadpur, Kejriwal asked people not to vote to elect a PM this time. He promised a house to every family if his party wins the upcoming Lok polls Sabha and assembly elections in 2020. “I promise that all of you will have a concrete house within 10 years if Delhi gets full statehood,” he added.At Gandhi Nagar, where Kejriwal inaugurated development works in four unauthorised colonies, Kejriwal said that Congress was not ready to forge an alliance with AAP. He alleged that Congress is trying to weaken AAP in Delhi by dividing the anti-BJP votes. “Even BJP wants the anti-party votes go to Congress so that they can win again,” he claimed.Meanwhile, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari termed Kejriwal a “king of U-turns”. “Why is Kejriwal asking Congress for an alliance now? Has he forgotten his claim that Congress was the mother of corruption?” he asked.
