Delhi: Temperature to rise 5°C in next six days

NEW DELHI: Delhi is finally witnessing warm weather and the mercury is set to rise by another five degrees in the next six days, the IMD has forecast. However, another spike is expected after a spell of light rain occurs on Monday. "There is a likelihood of light rain on March 25," said a senior Met official. Delhi's overall air quality index was just 114 on Friday - classified in the 'moderate' range - with the maximum temperature recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius.Officials from the regional Met department said that Delhi has seen a drop in the maximum temperature over the last few days.
