"They promised statehood to Delhi, only to forget later," Rai said, adding the seven AAP candidates will rake up the issue during campaign and later take the issue of full statehood to Parliament. "We will bring full statehood to Delhi. Jakhar also addressed the people.Rai, in his address, spoke about the "dual standards" of the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ).
