#BoycottAmazon : Amazon caught selling toilet seats and doormats printed with hindu deities for third time

Several Indians took to Twitter to express their anger. `Nothing is greater than our religion and beliefs` posted one of the users and posted the screenshot of uninstalling Amazon app.
#BoycottAmazon was once again trending on Twitter on Thursday after e-commerce giant was seen selling toilet seats and doormats with the prints of Indian deities. Jeff Bezos owned e-commerce platform has put toilet seats and doormats printed with Indian gods and goddesses for sale on its website Amazon.com
Several Indians took to Twitter to express their anger. `Nothing is greater than our religion and beliefs` posted one of the users and posted the screenshot of uninstalling Amazon app. Some of the Amazon users even cancelled their order that they have made earlier. Deeply hurt several Amazon users has hit Amazon by uninstalling the app, poorly rating the app and taking part in #boycottAmazon campaign on Twitter.
The more shocking is that it is not the first time that Amazon has put such products for sale. In 2014, Hindu cleric Rajan Zed noted that the website was selling women’s leggings carrying images of various Hindu Gods. It is not only with hindu deities but also with Islam and other religions. In 2016 even cricketer Ravindra Jadeja expressed his anger and took part in the #boycottamazon campaign on Twitter. Now Amazon has been caught third time in such act. There has been no response from Amazon till now.
