Kejri blaming Modi instead of curbing pollution: Goel

Tribune News ServiceNew Delhi, June 5Former Bharatiya Janata Party Delhi president and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel today met a large number of people at a park in Lakshmi Nagar to talk about the failures of the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government. He said while Delhi was rapidly turning into a slum, Kejriwal was busy blaming the Modi government instead of fighting the menace of air pollution. “AAP had promised to install 15 lakh CCTV cameras, but even after four years, only 1.5 lakh have been installed,” he said. Goel said while the Delhi Government blamed the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MC) for insanitation, the MC found faults with the government. He said while the governments had been doing their bit, people should also keep public places clean.

Goel said while the Delhi Government blamed the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MC) for insanitation, the MC found faults with the government. “Since the BJP has come to power in the Centre, it is necessary that it forms government in Delhi also, so that the MC, the Centre and the Delhi Government could work for development together without making excuses,” said Goel. He said while the governments had been doing their bit, people should also keep public places clean. He also listened to people’s grievances.
