AAP govt to develop 11 city forests

New Delhi, June 25The Forest Department of the Delhi Government has proposed to develop 11 city forests in various areas of the capital in 2019-20. After going through the proposal, Delhi Minister for Environment and Forest Imran Husain directed officials to ensure that at least six city forests were developed in the monsoon season itself. Accordingly, the officials were directed to submit a detailed action plan, including timelines for the development of city forests. It was also decided that a review meeting would be convened soon.
