Meghalaya minister visits govt school to attend ‘happiness class’

The Delhi Government’s Happiness Utsav, a celebration of the first year of the happiness curriculum, entered its second day today. Rymbui experienced a happiness class session at the school. Sisodia said, “We are celebrating the first year of the launch of the Happiness Curriculum through a 15-day festival called Happiness Utsav. I have formed a task force to revise the state curriculum framework.

The Delhi Government’s Happiness Utsav, a celebration of the first year of the happiness curriculum, entered its second day today. Rymbui experienced a happiness class session at the school. He also interacted with students and teachers in the school auditorium. Sisodia said, “We are celebrating the first year of the launch of the Happiness Curriculum through a 15-day festival called Happiness Utsav. Our teachers and students were glad that they could interact with the minister and exchange ideas about the models of education in the two states.” Rymbui said, “This government school has one of the best infrastructures in state. The teachers are very good. The happiness class is very important for today’s youth. I have come here today to see whether this programme could be replicated in our state or if it could be modified based upon our own culture and identities. I have formed a task force to revise the state curriculum framework. I came with an open mind to learn and share my knowledge. Our officers will also make a visit to the Capital to understand the curriculum.” Sisodia expressed his gratitude to the Government of Meghalaya and the Education Minister for visiting the government school on behalf of the teachers and students.
