Promises Rs 10 lakh financial assistance, legal helpTribune News ServiceNew Delhi, July 17Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met a six-year-old minor rape victim admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. Kejriwal also met father of the victim and enquired about her health condition from the senior doctors at the hospital. The CM was informed that the minor’s condition was stable, though the treatment would take time and further surgeries were required to bring her to normalcy. Del govt will provide Rs 10 lakh financial assistance & best legal help. “Exemplary punishment must be given to those committing heinous crimes against minors so that an effective deterrent sends out a clear signal in the society,” said the CM.
