Return places of Sikh faith to community: GK

Tribune News ServiceNew Delhi, July 20Former president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjeet Singh GK said today that all sacred places related to Guru Nanak Dev should be handed over to the Sikh community and all Sikh establishments should jointly plan for it. He was speaking at a nagar kirtan organised on the occasion of the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nank Dev 550. He said two nagar kirtans and two golden chariot processions proposed to be taken out from Delhi to Kartarpur Sahib and Delhi to Nankana Sahib on October 13 and 28 by the DSGMC and theShiromani Akali Dal (Delhi), respectively, were unnecessary. He further said both the organisations should find a solution to it and the sacred places takenaway from the Sikh community should be returned to them.
