Security official shoots self inside DRDO premises

The security official was identified as Hardeep Singh, a native of Punjab, they said. After the police reached the spot, the body was fished out from the drain, the official said. The man, who disclosed his name as Siddharth, was apprehended and handed over to the local police at IP Estate, they said.

A passerby informed the police about the body at 12.15 pm, he said. After the police reached the spot, the body was fished out from the drain, the official said. The body has been preserved at the mortuary of Deen Dayal Upadhaya hospital PTI ‘Mentally unstable’ man held A man suspected to be ‘mentally unstable’ was apprehended on Tuesday for allegedly trying to barge into the Delhi Police Headquarters at ITO without an identity card, said the police. The man, who disclosed his name as Siddharth, was apprehended and handed over to the local police at IP Estate, they said. PTI
