2 murdered over suspected monetary dispute 1 held

New Delhi: Two persons were shot dead in a suspected monetary dispute case in Shahbad Dairy area on Monday. Police identified the deceased as Amit (30)and his servant Nikhil Gulati (40). The report was lodged by Amit's brother Jaideep the next day at police station Shahbad Dairy. "An altercation took place between them which resulted in the murder of both Amit and Nikhil Gulati," said DCP. Later on, the bodies of both Amit and Nikhil Gulati were found in the canal in the area of K. N. Katju Marg police station on October 17.

Police identified the deceased as Amit (30)and his servant Nikhil Gulati (40). Both deceased, residents of Sector 28 in Rohini, were reported missing on October 14. The report was lodged by Amits brother Jaideep the next day at police station Shahbad Dairy. Amit originally belongs to Rohtak, Haryana. Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer north) Gaurav Sharma said that during the investigation, it came to notice that Amit had given Rupees 6 - 7 lakh to Naveen, out of which Rs 2 - 2.5 lakh were still pending on Naveen. "Amit had kept Honda Amaze Car of Naveen with him in lieu of pending amount," said DCP Sharma. He further added that later Amit and Naveen had the telephonic conversation and in the evening Amit along with his servant Nikhil Gulati went to meet Naveen to get his remaining money. "An altercation took place between them which resulted in the murder of both Amit and Nikhil Gulati," said DCP. Later on, the bodies of both Amit and Nikhil Gulati were found in the canal in the area of K. N. Katju Marg police station on October 17. The bodies were identified on the same day by the Outer North district police team. Accordingly, relevant sections have been added in the case. One of the accused person identified as Anthony Bagher resident of Khera Khurd was apprehended. "Search is on to nab the remaining accused persons," said DCP Sharma.
