Submit report on ‘illegal’ plastic factory, says NGT

BRIEFLYNew DelhiThe National Green Tribunal directed the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) on Monday to submit a report on a plea alleging an illegal plastic factory is operating in Anand Parbat here. A Bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel asked the DPCC to furnish report in the matter within a month. According to a statement, the delegation, led by Chairman Sameer Gupta, shared with the CM that their industry body was keen on collaborating with the government towards improving the city’s cleanliness. Anthony Bagher, who was living in Khera Khurd here and hails from Haryana’s Rohtak district, along with two other men, allegedly shot dead the victims on October 14, a senior officer said. PTI 4-day laser show from Oct 26 The Delhi Government will organise a four-day laser show from October 26 to encourage people not to burst crackers this Diwali, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday.
