DTL improves efficiency transparency in its business

NEW DELHI: Delhi government undertaking 'Delhi Transco Limited' (DTL) in its endeavour to further improve efficiency and transparency in its business operations organized one day interactive session with its existing and prospective vendors today at India Habitat Centre. The session was chaired by Padmini Singla Chairperson & Managing Director of DTL and other senior functionaries of the company were also present. While inaugurating the Vendors Meet Singla stated that DTL has already adopted e-tendering for all the domestic competitive biddings to ensure better transparency and considering moving further in this direction by adopting paperless tendering system all throughout. This platform provided vendors an opportunity to express their views and make suggestions for further improving the functioning of Delhi Transco Limited. Suggestions from various contractors that included big electrical contractors like BHEL, Siemens, Toshiba etc were heard and DTL management assured them to critically examine the suggestions for further improvement in its functioning.
