New Delhi: Delhi Police on Sunday said that they have arrested three persons for duping finance company of Rs 20 lakh in South East Delhi. Police said that the accused forged the documents of customers and get finance approval from a finance company. Police identified the accused as Sunil Kumar (35), Harish Dhingra (40) and Mohammad Sualeheen (28). The complainant in the case one Ashish Goyal from Hinduja Leyland Finance Ltd told police that marketing agent of his company, Sunil Kumar with some unknown persons has manipulated documents of the customers of various showrooms of Honda Activa and used them for obtaining the finance approval from his company for getting the vehicles released from these showrooms. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Chinmoy Biswal said that later all accused were arrested. Dhingra was the mastermind behind this fraud. He would lure the marketing agents of the finance companies who used to work in automobile showrooms and facilitate the loans for the prospective buyers. "In this case, he lured Sunil Kumar and made him part of the conspiracy. They would prepare the forged documents of the prospective fake buyers by already existing and available different IDs with them," said DCP Biswal. Based on these IDs, Sunil prepared fake files for loan sanction and taking advantage of his status, managed to get the delivery order (DO) issued from his company in the name of the dealer and showroom of Honda Activa. After getting the delivery order, dealers used to release the vehicle to the fake buyers presented by Dhingra. Once the delivery was done, the vehicle was handed over to Sualeheen who used to sell it out to needy innocent people at concessional rates by misleading the customers.
