Boy stabbed to death in revenge killing

NEW DELHI: A 21-year-old boy was stabbed to death by two boys in Madangir in Ambedkar Nagar, South Delhi late night on Sunday. The police said that the argument between the deceased boy Lavi and the accused resulted in violent stabbing of the boy. Police received a call at around 11:12 pm on Sunday night that a boy has been stabbed by three to four people in Madangir. "We have arrested a 21-year-old boy identified as Sooraj and apprehended a CCL in connection with the murder. To take revenge, the accused procured knife from Haridwar and executed the murder by stabbing the deceased.

The police said that the argument between the deceased boy Lavi and the accused resulted in violent stabbing of the boy. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared bought dead by the doctors. Police received a call at around 11:12 pm on Sunday night that a boy has been stabbed by three to four people in Madangir. By the time police reached the spot, the accused fled the scene. Local inquiry by the police revealed the identity of the accused. Police immediately formed several teams to arrest the accused. "We have arrested a 21-year-old boy identified as Sooraj and apprehended a CCL in connection with the murder. It has been revealed by the accused that Lavi (deceased) used to abuse them under the influence of liquor and had allegedly thrashed them several times at D II, Madangir," said DCP, South, Atul Kumaar Thakur. To take revenge, the accused procured knife from Haridwar and executed the murder by stabbing the deceased. The police have also recovered the weapon. The accused and the deceased were residents of the same locality, Madangir.
