Two held with gold at IGIA

New Delhi: In two separate cases, Customs at IGI airport arrested two persons for smuggling gold into the country. Gold worth more than Rs 64 lakh was recovered from their possession. On detailed personal and baggage search, gold paste which was concealed inside the rectum of the passenger was recovered. "The gold paste was processed which resulted in the recovery of gold bar weighing 505 grams. During his personal and baggage search 12 gold biscuits weighing 1,401 grams were recovered.
