1K DDA flats to be given to Army personnel

New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Monday launched an Online Running Scheme for allotment of 1000 one bed room flats that would be given to Defence Personnels, Paramilitary Forces. The flats are located at Rohini Sector-34 and 35, and Sector G-2 and G-8, Narela on First Come First Serve basis to the gallantry awardees/war widows, persons who have been injured/disabled during the action/war from Army, Navy, Air Force, Para-Military Forces at a subsidized rate of Rs.7 lakhs. "DDA has advertised this Scheme through advertisement in newspapers and distribution of posters among the personnel of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Camp, Cantonment Area etc for publicizing the Scheme," said a statement from the Delhi Development Authority. The Scheme has also been intimated to the Secretaries of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare with a request to arrange wide publicity.
