SDMC organises second Child Parliament for its students

New Delhi: SDMC organised second 'Child Parliament' to familiarise its students with the political system and functioning of Parliament of India. In the 'Child Parliament', 60 students from each four zones took part, students of the West zone discussed on new education policy, students of the Najafgarh zone on Article 370, students of South zone on pollution and students of Central zone on unauthorised colonies. Students played the role of Prime Minister, Ministers, Speaker, Leader of Opposition in the session of Parliament. Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti said that a unique program was organised again in corporation where students played the role of people's representatives. Standing Committee Chairman Bhupender Gupta said that such programs of the Child Parliament should be organized at big level in all the schools of the four zones.

With such programs, students will get knowledge about the politics, government, parliament, the working of the corporation and this will inspire them and they will emerge as a future leader. Standing Committee Chairman Bhupender Gupta said that such programs of the Child Parliament should be organized at big level in all the schools of the four zones. Our corporation school is not less than any of the private schools in Delhi and todays event has proved that we will also have a hob for enrolment in our schools in the coming days. Kamaljit Sehrawat, the leader of the House said that along with the students, we have to praise the teachers so that they have made such a good preparation for the childrens parliament.
